Aerospace Resins

RMB first developed its resin formulation capabilities when it realized that there was no rotational molding resin available that could meet the stringent demands of the aerospace industry.  The Company went on a quest to find a nylon 12 formulation that could offer the weight reduction, durability, and FAR fire retardant characteristics that the aerospace industry demanded.  The result?  Two best in class rotationally moldable nylon 12 formulations that the Company continues to improve upon today:

RMB 435

The commercial aerospace industry standard for rotational molding.
•  High impact polyamide
•  Flame retardant to Federal Aviation Regulation 25.853 (a) and (b)
•  Currently specified into all Boeing rotational molding applications
•  See its full range of characteristics here

RMB 421C

The military aerospace industry standard for rotational molding.
•  High impact polyamide
•  Approved by McDonnell Douglas for all military rotational molding applications
•  Approved by Boeing for all military rotational molding applications
